Biography
Chuck focuses his practice on intellectual property law, helping clients protect their innovations and brands through patent and trademark prosecution, intellectual property portfolio management, and strategic enforcement. He works with a diverse range of clients, from large corporations to individual inventors, providing practical legal solutions tailored to their needs.
With a strong technical background, he has experience handling intellectual property matters across a range of industries, including chemical, mechanical, material sciences, medical device, and biotechnology. His work in the chemical sector includes technologies used in industrial coatings, advanced materials, and manufacturing processes. In the mechanical space, he has worked with precision-engineered components and tooling applications. His biotechnology experience includes innovations in therapeutic treatments and medical advancements.
Before practicing law, he worked as a research chemist for a specialty chemical manufacturer, where he conducted complex laboratory synthesis and contributed to process improvements for emerging technologies. This hands-on experience provides him with a deep understanding of the technical and commercial challenges his clients face, allowing him to craft strong, defensible patents and brand protection strategies.
Known for his attention to detail and responsiveness, he is dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of intellectual property law while securing and maximizing the value of their innovations. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid sports fan.
