Holly C. Wallace

Biography

Holly provides service-oriented legal counsel with experience advising clients on regulatory compliance, software technology agreements, and data privacy obligations including GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA and CPNI. As former in-house counsel for a cloud-based, global technology company, she has particular experience supporting clients who provide Software as a Service (SaaS), unified communications as a service (UCaaS) and other cloud-based and hosted services. 

Holly brings over twelve years’ experience negotiating complex commercial agreements including end user license (EULA), master service (MSA), data processing (DPA) and content-distribution agreements. She is able to assist clients with an array of distribution models including OEM, reseller, channel partner, and sales referral agents. A trusted advisor, Holly has worked with clients’ information-security and product teams to help launch new cloud-based services.

Holly also assists clients in the public utility arena, including clients in the telecommunications, electric, gas, water and sewage industries.  She has represented local utilities and rural cooperatives in a variety of matters and disputes before state and federal courts and agencies, including arguing before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  

Holly’s experience also includes assisting clients from a variety of other industries including healthcare, media, and banking in general corporate matters, employment issues, litigation, and M&A due diligence reviews.
