Jeremy J. Justice

Biography

Jeremy has experience in a wide range of intellectual property matters, including drafting provisional and non-provisional patent applications for both U.S. and Patent Cooperation Treaty submission, performing patentability searches, drafting patentability opinions, and analyzing and drafting responses to pending office actions. He also has experience preparing memorandums of understanding concerning trademark and copyright cases and drafting patent infringement opinions.

He began his career in the automotive industry, where he managed a team to perform maintenance on and programming of robots to accommodate quality and operations issues. Additionally, he held the position of a controls engineer, where he modified and drafted logic for the production operations.

Notably, Jeremy was recognized for his work in the design, fabrication and installation of vehicle hood geometric alignment fixtures that shielded cables and sensors from improper hood alignment and placement. In addition, he researched and evaluated various drives, motors and automation tools for suitability and implementation into a fast-paced production environment. This research ultimately led to implementation of a corporate-wide lift-gate tooling initiative that eliminated excessive breakdowns and micro-stops across all facilities.
