Michael  G.  Frey

Biography

Michael focuses his practice on intellectual property law, including trademarks, copyrights, licensing, trade secrets, advertising matters, Internet law, and privacy law. 

He is able to assist with a wide variety of matters such as clearance of trademarks, prosecution and maintenance of trademark and copyright applications and registrations, licensing of trademarks and other forms of intellectual property (both from the licensor and licensee perspective), enforcement of trademark rights through U.S. customs, and representation of clients in administrative proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He advises clients on both U.S. and international trademark portfolios and helps them secure appropriate protection for their trademarks and other intellectual property assets. He is also experienced with protection of intellectual property rights online, and has been involved with domain name registrations, domain name arbitration proceedings, online brand policing and enforcement, and developing and implementing website terms of use and privacy policies.

Michael’s clients range from large corporations to small companies and individuals. He works closely with clients to find solutions that match their business needs while optimizing protection for their legal interests.
