Biography
Michael is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the mechanical and biomedical fields. He works closely with a diverse range of clients, including individual inventors, universities, hospital systems, and global companies. Through this collaboration, he helps clients navigate the patent process and safeguard their innovations.
His experience spans the drafting and prosecution of both U.S. and international patent applications. These include technologies such as biomedical devices, surgical instruments, industrial tools, automotive systems, and consumer products. Michael is recognized for his collaborative style, often leading inventor meetings and strategic discussions to uncover patentable ideas and ensure filings align with broader business objectives.
Beyond his legal practice, Michael has contributed to technology transfer initiatives. Notably, he served as an extern at NASA’s Glenn Research Center, where he supported patent licensing efforts and conducted marketability research.
