Biography
Nainika focuses her practice on managing domestic and international trademark portfolios for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies, counseling them on the acquisition, protection, and enforcement of their trademark rights. Her experience includes trademark clearance searches to assess the availability of trademarks for use and registration, filing and prosecuting new trademark applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), including advising on and responding to Office Actions, and enforcement of trademark rights in the US and internationally.
She received her J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she served on the executive boards for the Public Interest Law Foundation and Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, served as Articles Editor for Indiana Law Journal, and participated in the Intellectual Property Law Clinic, through which she counseled clients on patent, trademark, copyright, and NIL matters under the direct supervision of clinic faculty.
