Jad Alamuddin focuses his practice on commercial litigation and general corporate work. His experience includes representing clients in business disputes with an emphasis on motion practice in both state and federal courts across multiple jurisdictions.
Jad has appeared in court and presented oral arguments in contested matters. His practice includes drafting and arguing procedural and dispositive motions in complex commercial disputes. He also conducted an arbitration of a lease dispute.
He has developed sophisticated expertise in premium-financed universal indexed life insurance policies, employed for high-net-worth estates. He approaches litigation with a detail-oriented and practical focus, assisting clients through all phases of the dispute process.
His practice also encompasses advising clients on corporate formations, as well as drafting and negotiating separation agreements and addressing disputes arising from breaches of service contracts. Prior to joining the firm, Jad gained valuable experience as a legal intern with Portillo’s in-house legal team, where he supported both corporate litigation and transactional matters.
Jad earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
