Josh focuses his practice on public finance transactions. His public finance practice involves advising traditional governmental issuers, including, but not limited to, counties, cities, villages, townships, school districts, water and sewer districts, park districts, and convention facilities authorities as bond counsel. Josh also advises underwriters, banks, and nonprofit 501(c)(3) borrowers and for-profit companies, particularly in healthcare, senior living, and higher education, on their municipal finance transactions. He has worked as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, borrower’s counsel and bank counsel on a variety of governmental and conduit nonprofit municipal securities transactions, in addition to helping clients navigate their continuing disclosure compliance issues related to SEC Rule 15c2-12.
He has practiced public finance law since graduating from the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University in 2014. Prior to attending law school, he worked as an associate in financial asset management, where he analyzed and interpreted financial statements and managed a database of financial information.
