Kiera M. Finelli

Senior Associate

Kiera focuses her practice on health care and corporate law. She represents health care providers and suppliers in all aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Kiera has significant experience negotiating complex agreements, managing corporate governance matters, and obtaining licensure and Medicare/Medicaid approvals. She regularly counsels health care clients on regulatory and compliance issues related to HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, physician self-referral law (Stark), False Claims Act, 340B program, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and FDA regulation. In addition, Kiera assists health care professionals with employment, payor enrollment, and individual licensure matters. 

Early in her career, Kiera worked in-house for one of Central Ohio’s largest health care systems. During law school, she served as a managing editor of the Ohio State Technology Law Journal. To gain insight in the health care industry, Kiera earned a Master’s degree in Health Administration.
