Mario focuses his practice on intellectual property strategy and enforcement. His broad experience includes prosecuting patent, trademark and copyright applications and enforcing the intellectual property rights of his clients both in state and federal court.
Mario is currently serving a two-year term as an Intellectual Property Fellow for the American Bar Association, while also serving as the Committee Chair for the ABA-Intellectual Property Law Young Lawyers Division.
He received his Master of Law (LL.M.) from UC Berkeley School of Law with High Honors along with a certificate in intellectual property. Mario served in leadership roles while at UC Berkeley, including as Class President and Associate Editor for the Berkeley Technology Journal, and he was selected to be a member of the Samuelson Law, Technology, and Intellectual Property Clinic.
Prior to graduate school, Mario attended the University of Miami School of Law while clerking at local intellectual property boutique firms.
Mario also interned at the Miami Dade State Attorney’s office where he gained trial experience serving as first and second chair on criminal trials.
