Bryan counsels health care and life sciences industry clients through complex regulatory, transactional, and litigation issues. He represents a wide variety of individuals and organizations, including retail and specialty pharmacies, hospitals, health clinics, dialysis clinics, management services companies, health care technology companies, and medical device manufacturers.
Bryan has years of experience navigating clients through organizational and regulatory challenges, as well as helping clients identify and implement opportunities to grow their business. For example, he regularly assists clients by supporting development of new business opportunities, identifying and mitigating regulatory and compliance risks, and protecting economic interests through contract and reimbursement disputes. Bryan also assists clients in interactions with regulators and in developing governmental affairs strategies.
Bryan is also nationally-recognized for his expertise in the federal 340B drug pricing program and related drug pricing issues. His 340B Program-related work is critically important to the financial survival of safety net health care providers, including disproportionate share hospitals, children’s hospitals, critical access hospitals, rural hospitals, and federal grantee clinics. Bryan is a committed partner of 340B Program stakeholders and leverages his deep experience in the 340B Program and Medicaid Drug Rebate Program to improve and protect his clients’ access to essential drug discounts and the provision of services to safety net providers.
Before joining Dinsmore, Bryan served as in-house counsel at a specialty pharmacy and at a Medicaid and Medicare managed care plan. His familiarity with the complexities of the health care and life sciences industries, as well as his understanding of business and in-house legal needs, enables him to provide his clients professional, effective, and efficient legal advice.
