Ankoor D. Desai


Ankoor’s practice focuses on employee benefits and executive compensation. He assists clients ranging across a variety of industries and size regarding retirement plans (including 401(k) and pension plans), health and welfare plans, and other day-to-day benefits administration matters. Ankoor also assists with employee benefit and executive compensation matters in the context of mergers, acquisitions, and other investment transactions, often with respect to private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies.

Ankoor is experienced in preparing submissions and responding to the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor for various compliance-related matters. He has assisted clients with transactions for public and private companies, including related Code Section 280G “golden parachute” cleansing votes, as well as reviewing executive compensation arrangements that are subject to Code Section 409A.
