This role is designed to be instrumental in shaping the brand propositions and creative materials to achieve the firm’s profile raising objectives nationally.  It will also assist with the messaging and creative input to support the firm’s brand in local markets, in addition to specific sectors and industries served by the firm. 

This is a hands on position which will provide a self-starter capable of bringing fresh thinking and ideas, with the opportunity and latitude to bring those ideas to life and innovate.  The role is designed to have a key role with significant input into efforts to differentiate the firm in the marketplace as it further develops its strategic objectives.  It will also work closely with the firm’s leadership team and attorneys to provide proactive, reliable and time effective services to support their business development activities. 

The role requires a highly organized, detail oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong client service orientation and an interest in business issues. 

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the leadership team, drive brand development, corporate identity and brand awareness.
  • Continuously assessing the impact of the firm’s branding and profiling efforts. Working closely with the firm’s Client Development Team to assess the firm’s approach in light of client feedback and information on current and emerging trends. Proactively recommending adjustments and refinements, as required.
  • Ensure consistent execution in multimedia messaging for both internal and external audiences aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Creative direction for effective collateral material, including the design of proposals, client alerts, newsletters, announcements and advertising which collectively and consistently drive brand propositions.
  • Creative direction for external and internal communications, including promotion of firm and attorney announcements, awards, rankings and accomplishments.
  • Manage relations with external providers of marketing technology services including website, email marketing, printing and graphics services.
  • Proactively suggest new technologies to increase audience engagement and market impact. 

Requirements:

Graphic Arts or BA Degree (four year college or university)

Minimum of seven years related experience, preferably in a corporate/professional services environment. 

  • Strong command of graphic arts and visual communications strategies.
  • Strategic and critical thinker who is interested in trends, best practices and innovation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure on a large number of initiatives simultaneously.
  • Flexible mindset with an ability to focus on and achieve short and long-range goals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, leadership, vendors and marketing teams. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office. HTML/animation//video editing skills an asset.
  • A thorough understanding of consistent production from online to print and vice-versa.
  • An eye for quality and readability in online graphics and communications.

Legal Administrative Assistant - Litigation

Dinsmore is seeking to add a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to its litigation team at our Pittsburgh, PA location. This position is 100% in-office.
 

Responsibilities:
Draft correspondence, prepare, edit and file pleadings with State and Federal courts, schedule depositions, file maintenance, travel arrangements, expense reports, time entry, review and edit of pre-bills, maintain attorney calendars, manage client contacts/calls, and assist attorneys in moving cases forward, including trial preparation.
 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with litigation support, and trial prep
  • Strong experience calendaring litigation deadlines
  • Working knowledge and understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures
  • Strong filing / e-filing experience in State and Federal courts, ECF and Pacer
  • Experience using attorney timekeeping software and document management systems
  • Must have experience and proficiency using MS Office Suite, and iManage software
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced environment
  • Solid work history
