Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Morgantown Madness event celebrated another successful year by raising more than $3000 for Milan Puskar Health Right. The event is in its third year and has raised $10,000 for Health Right, a free clinic that provides health and dental care.

The Morgantown office of Dinsmore hosted the fundraising event at West Virginia University’s Erickson Alumni Center on March 18, 2016. Attendees enjoyed watching the first round games of the NCAA basketball tournament.

“Once again, we had a great time watching the tournament and catching up with our clients and friends” said David Thomas, Morgantown Office Managing Partner. “We appreciate the generosity of those who attended and supported this event and look forward to hosting it again in 2017.”

Milan Puskar Health Right provides a wide range of services from primary medical care to dental referrals, vision screenings, mental health services and medications free of charge for low-income patients. Health Right provides more than 13,000 patient encounters each year.

“Dinsmore has been a wonderful partner for the past three years to improve the health of our community. The proceeds from this event allow us to fill health care gaps that still exist for low-income residents of North Central West Virginia,” said Laura Jones, Executive Director of Milan Puskar Health Right.

The Morgantown office features 13 attorneys with a strong focus on natural resources law, mine and workplace safety, banking and creditor rights, estate and family wealth planning and governmental relations. They also handle a variety of corporate, employment, litigation and real estate matters.
