YWCA Star on the Rise at Dinsmore
Kelly E. Pitcher, an associate in Dinsmore’s Cincinnati office, was recently selected for the 2017 Rising Star Award by the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati's Academy of Career Women of Achievement.
The Rising Star program was created in 2002 as a way to mentor and support women ages 25 to 40 in pursuit of excellence in their careers. Only members of the YWCA Board and Academy are eligible to nominate women as Rising Stars.
Pitcher is a member of the Litigation Department, focusing her practice on commercial litigation and complex business disputes. She has experience litigating an array of cases, including corporate governance matters, trade secret disputes, and breach of contract cases. Pitcher also advises various municipalities and government entities and is the prosecuting attorney for the City of Blue Ash. Recently, Ms. Pitcher helped defend a client in a breach of contract action in Montgomery County, Ohio. After a two-day bench trial, the court rendered a verdict in favor of her client. Pitcher earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude.
