Employers Favor Wellness Programs: But, Beware of the Fine Print

Wellness programs are a popular option to offer employees. Even the Affordable Care Act encourages group plan sponsors to offer incentives to participants who adhere to certain wellness program criteria. The EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), however, recently released their proposed regulations governing employer-provided wellness programs to help employers to comply with the law – like most of their rules, there are legal pitfalls in the fine print.

Join Dinsmore attorneys Denise Pentino and Anjali Chavan as they highlight how employers can benefit from offering a wellness program and accommodations while complying with EEOC guidelines and avoiding litigation claims.

We will also be presenting Safety Council members with awards at this meeting.
