Biography

Audra serves as the firm’s Assistant General Counsel, providing legal advice and strategic guidance on conflicts of interest, new business intake, and risk management. With nearly 15 years of experience as counsel to a federal agency, she is a recognized expert in government ethics and conflicts of interest.

Before entering private practice, Audra spent a decade as a civilian attorney for the Department of the Air Force at Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) and the 88th Air Base Wing on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. She directly advised the AFMC Commander and other senior leaders on complex ethics issues, authored regulations, mentored a legal community of 400 Airmen, and instructed courses for 500 personnel annually. She also advised the AFMC Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Director on the legalities of collecting domestic imagery to empower weapons system research and development while simultaneously protecting the privacy rights of U.S. citizens. As a legal advisor to the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Commander, she covered a diverse portfolio that included Administrative Law, Government Contracts, and Employment Law.

Prior to federal civil service, Audra was commissioned an officer and served on active duty in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. As a judge advocate, she gained litigation experience as a military prosecutor and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney. She served as an Administrative Law Attorney and Military Magistrate where she advised senior military commanders and civilian leaders on administrative proceedings, investigations, federal ethics regulations, and financial disclosure reporting. She also has extensive estate planning and family law experience from her role as a Legal Assistance Attorney to soldiers during the Global War on Terrorism.
