Brendan J. Mohan

Biography

Brendan concentrates his practice on labor and employment law and commercial litigation, helping clients navigate complex workplace and business disputes. He advises companies of all sizes, leveraging strong litigation strategies and a passion for legal writing and advocacy.

Before joining the firm, Brendan completed a legal fellowship with an American global tire company, where he contributed to both legal and community initiatives. While at that company, he also served on a leadership council focused on developing future professionals within the organization and regularly volunteered across the region.

A nationally recognized legal writer, Brendan has won two writing competitions and published nearly a dozen articles in law reviews, trade journals and bar association publications. He has presented his work at national conferences hosted by the Federal Bar Association, at the American Bar Association Administrative Law Section’s Conference hosted in conjunction with the Yale Journal of Regulation, and at Akron Law Review’s Health and IP Symposiums. His contributions earned him membership in Scribes, the American Society of Legal Writers.

Brendan is active in the legal and broader community through volunteer work with the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, the University of Akron School of Law and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He also serves as an Exchange Scholar for the National Constitution Center and is a member of the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club.
