Emily A. Blackburn

Biography

Prior to joining Dinsmore, Emily received her B.S. in Nursing from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. She worked full-time as a registered nurse in a variety of clinical areas, including medical surgical, psychiatric, and intensive care.

Emily graduated Order of the Coif from West Virginia University College of Law in Morgantown, West Virginia. During law school, she was an active member of the West Virginia Law Review, where she served in a variety of roles, including Executive Editor, and was published as a student author in Issue One of Volume 127. Emily also served as President of the Environmental Law Society and as a board member of Realizing Our Opportunities through Service (ROOTS).
