Emma H. Deering

Biography

Emma advises clients on a range of litigation matters, with a focus on complex disputes in both state and federal courts. Her work often involves navigating procedural challenges and developing strategies that align with clients’ business objectives.

Before joining the firm, Emma served as a federal judicial law clerk for Judge Rebecca G. Jennings of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. That experience gave her valuable insight into how judges approach cases and the factors that influence decisions—perspective she now uses to guide clients through litigation with clarity and confidence.

While in law school, Emma was deeply involved in legal scholarship as Managing Editor of the Washington University Jurisprudence Review. She continues to bring that analytical rigor to her practice, helping clients understand complex legal issues and make informed decisions.
