Biography

Faisal is a patent agent with 8 prior years of experience as a mechanical engineer. During his prior career, Faisal worked with hundreds of clients to identify safety concerns in product design across a range of industries, including military, clean energy, automotive, and more. He also assisted clients with identifying operational risks in their manufacturing processes.

Faisal earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law (magna cum laude). During that time, he competed in the Giles S. Rich Moot Court Competition in Boston. He also received CALI awards in IP Licensing and UCC – Sales. Faisal spent both his law school summers conducting patent prosecution work, working on technologies such as household appliances, automotive equipment, and electrical circuits.

He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton. During his time as a student, Faisal helped design jet engines for GE Aerospace, conducted biofuels and materials research for the United State Air Force, and spent a summer working on environmental engineering projects for a small non-profit in La Paz, Bolivia.
