Biography
Melanie advises clients on a wide range of real estate finance matters, with a focus on transactions involving Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, construction financing, and other secure lending arrangements. Her work often involves navigating complex deal structures and coordinating with lenders, borrowers and third parties to ensure her clients experience smooth closings and viable, long-term financing solutions.
Prior to joining Dinsmore, Melanie practiced in New York City as a banking and finance associate for an AmLaw 50 law firm. She regularly assists with the documentation and negotiation of loan agreements, security instruments, and related real estate documents. Melanie’s experience includes working with financial institutions on asset-backed lending and fund finance transactions and gives her a strong foundation to structure deals that meet both business and regulatory needs.

From supporting a local development project to handling a complex, multi-party financing arrangement, she brings a collaborative mindset and exacting attention to detail to every deal.
