Dinsmore & Shohl’s Mindy Barfield has been elected to the Board of Governors of the Kentucky Bar Association (KBA).

KBA Board of Governors is the governing body of Kentucky’s mandatory bar association. It handles policy matters as well as attorney discipline. There are two members elected from each of the seven Supreme Court districts. Barfield will serve as one of two Governors for the Fifth District, which covers Lexington.

Mindy Barfield is a Partner in the Litigation Department. Mindy practices in the area of complex commercial litigation with a focus on defending businesses in contract-related and business torts litigation; litigation of coal-related disputes; and complex insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Mindy also defends clients in cases involving breach of fiduciary duty; fraud; misrepresentation; conversion; and interference with a contractual relationship or prospective advantage.
