Workplace Safety

Long before workplace violence, occupational illness and industrial accidents were headlines; safeguarding employees was among every company’s top priorities.  Today, it is imperative that employers comply with necessary rules and regulations to insure that their employees can operate in a safe and health environment.

New regulations and the added threat of civil and criminal penalties have propelled workplace safety awareness to new heights.  Businesses, from coal and aggregate mine operators to chemical and industrial manufacturers and those in the food, beverage and hospitality industries, are under scrutiny at the local, state and federal levels and often find themselves caught between conflicting guidelines without a clear path forward.
