Aiyana "Lani" L. Ceballos

Biography

Lani is a dedicated litigator with extensive experience in defending companies in both state and federal courts. Her practice covers a broad spectrum of complex litigation, including chemical-product liability, food label claims, and compliance with alcohol and cannabis regulations. Lani is involved in all stages of litigation, from drafting initial pleadings and discovery to preparing for trial.

Prior to joining Dinsmore, Lani practiced tort and product liability defense at a prominent national firm. There she developed experience and proficiency with E-discovery and class action cases relating to data breaches and further refined her ability to effectively manage intricate and technical legal challenges on behalf of her clients.

Lani has dedicated her practice to the assurance that a robust defense is available to all, from corporate clients to the vulnerable and underserved. Lani maintains an active pro bono practice where she regularly represents wrongly incarcerated individuals. Guided by a commitment to justice, her efforts have led to overturned convictions and significant legal victories for many pro bono clients.

While in law school, Lani was chosen for leadership roles in support of campus and community diversity. She served as President of the Black Law Student Association, Diversity Chair of the Student Bar Association, and competing in the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition
