Biography
Cameron focuses his practice on labor and employment law, helping clients navigate complex workplace issues with clarity and confidence. He works with national and international companies on matters involving employment terms, anti-discrimination compliance, collective bargaining agreements, and enforcement of non-competition and non-solicitation provisions. His experience spans federal and state employment statutes, including Title VII, the ADA, ADEA, and FLSA, as well as breach of contract and departing employee disputes.
Cameron is known for his strong writing, research, and analytical skills, honed through clerkships with Judge Louise Flanagan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina and Chief Judge Louis Bledsoe III of the North Carolina Business Court. His background includes work on numerous dispositive motions to dismiss and for summary judgment, and contributions to both civil and federal criminal trials. Clients value his ability to present their case in the most persuasive way possible—whether before a judge or jury—and his calm, focused approach under pressure.
Before his clerkships, Cameron also gained hands-on litigation experience with Legal Aid of North Carolina, where he successfully represented clients at trial, drafted a wide range of litigation documents, and advised on trial and settlement strategies.
Outside the office, Cameron enjoys running, reading, and spending time with his cat, Arthur.
