Dinsmore & Shohl’s Managing Partner and Chairman George H. Vincent and his wife, Kim, will be honored at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s (JDRF) Cincinnatians of the Year Gala.

This is the 30th year for the Gala benefitting the JDRF Southwest Ohio Chapter. The event is expected to raise nearly one-million dollars with proceeds going directly toward research to find a cure for type one diabetes. The Vincents became involved with JDRF several years ago when a close family friend passed away due to complications related to type one diabetes.

“JDRF has engaged in ground-breaking work in recent years and has given those with type one diabetes several new tools to help manage the day-to-day challenges of this disease,” said George H. Vincent. “Maintaining this strong momentum is essential until a cure is reached.”

900 people are expected to attend the Cincinnatians of the Year Gala at the Duke Energy Convention Center on May 10. This year’s theme is Mission: Possible, where every guest is invited to be an agent working towards finding a cure for type 1 diabetes.
