Public Finance Transportation

Our attorneys handle financing transactions ranging from transit and turnpike authorities to airports. We understand the financial climate surrounding transportation projects continues to evolve, and we devise strategies for our clients to help them meet their needs efficiently and cost-effectively.

Our experience includes serving as bond counsel to The Turnpike Authority in Kentucky, where we have participated in more than $2 billion of transactions. We have approved in excess of $300 million of obligations for the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority and structured a voluntary intercept of sales tax revenue to improve the bond ratings. Additionally, we served as bond counsel, disclosure counsel or underwriter's counsel in financings for projects, including: the Blue Grass Airport (Kentucky), Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, Dayton International Airport (Ohio), Denver International Airport (Colorado), the Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcar (Ohio), O’Hare Airport (Illinois), Kentucky Public Transportation Infrastructure Authority, (a project to build two new bridges over the Ohio River in Louisville) (Kentucky), and Port Columbus International Airport (Ohio).
