International Women's Day Interview-Becky Wagner

Dinsmore champions women’s rights and initiatives across all industries, and is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day and the unmatched mark of women in all areas of society. We want to introduce you to some of the women, both attorneys and staff, who help make up the fabric of the firm and contribute to help us accomplish more. Each of them has given their thoughts on the significant impact of women at Dinsmore and in society, as we look to a future of creating a more inclusive culture.

Meet Becky Wagner, Legal Administrative Assistant

How has Dinsmore contributed to your professional success?

Given who I have had the privilege to work with, I feel like I’ve helped set a great example for other women in my position at the firm. I really enjoy working with our team and taking an active role in the day-to-day activities that keep us going. When I started at Dinsmore, you rarely saw women in an upper management role. I’ve been privileged to see the progressive changes happening around the firm and women elevating to leadership roles because they have earned their spot.

As a female employee, how do you view our inclusive culture?

I have been very pleased to see so many females on the staff side in management positons from human resources to regional office administrators to accounting. It is encouraging for me, and women who are just starting out in their careers, to see representation at every level. I love seeing how the firm has made a conscious effort to see the value in all their people, and it will only get better from here.

What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy day hiking, and I do a little tole painting. I also like to watch UK basketball, and I enjoy listening to music.
