International Women's Day Interview-Valerie Grove

Dinsmore champions women’s rights and initiatives across all industries, and is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day and the unmatched mark of women in all areas of society. We want to introduce you to some of the women, both attorneys and staff, who help make up the fabric of the firm and contribute to help us accomplish more. Each of them has given their thoughts on the significant impact of women at Dinsmore and in society, as we look to a future of creating a more inclusive culture.

Meet Valerie Grove, Practice Support Assistant

How has Dinsmore contributed to your professional success?

I have to say that Joe Leventhal is one of the most supportive individuals I have ever had the pleasure to work with. There is great communication across the board, and I am trusted to do my job and am encouraged to grow in my role. I’ve witnessed this with many female employees here. There is just such a wonderful comradery, and everyone is on an equal level.

As a female employee, how do you view our inclusive culture?

The inclusive culture just continues to evolve and get better. I have yet to have an encounter where I felt less-than and/or inferior to a man or anyone. I’ve received respect from the top-down, and that is where it counts. I love to see that Dinsmore has such powerful women in powerful positions in all areas of the firm and reaffirms the progress we’ve made as women.

What do you like to do for fun?

A huge fan of football and I love to go for walks on the beach.
