Kristina Schiavone

Biography

Kristina’s practice focuses on intellectual property law, specifically the enforcement and protection of trademarks and copyrights. Kristina not only handles matters before the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, but also works with clients and foreign associates in the clearance, filing, prosecution, research, and maintenance of domestic and international trademarks.

Prior to joining Dinsmore, Kristina worked as a chemist  for the first five years of her career, where she analyzed samples and chemical plating baths for customers in the metal finishing industry, in addition to conducting research and developing analytical methods for a variety of instruments. Her background in chemistry and her experience in the metal finishing industry informs her practice as well, providing her with an in-depth understanding of her clients’ innovations in the chemical and life sciences domain.
