Michael Mattingly named to Cincinnati’s Forty Under 40
Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Michael B. Mattingly has been named to Cincinnati Business Courier’s 2019 Forty Under 40 class.
The 40 young professionals who make up the 2019 class share the goal of making a difference in Cincinnati through their community-service efforts and in their hard work. Forty Under 40 winners will be recognized at an awards dinner on Sept. 19.
“It is such an honor to be named a Forty Under 40,” Mattingly said. “I am proud to be included among this distinguished list of honorees, and look forward to working with them to help Cincinnati continue to thrive. I also am grateful to my family, friends, and Dinsmore for supporting me in my efforts to give back to our community.”
Mattingly served two overseas combat tours as an officer in the 101st Airborne Division prior to his law career. He uses the leadership and management skills he learned as a platoon leader in Iraq and company commander in Afghanistan to efficiently work through disputes and identify outcomes that appreciate and balance his clients’ legal and practical needs. A significant portion of Mattingly’s legal experience includes litigating collective and class-action at both the state and national level.
